Abstract
Objective

To study prenatal cocaine exposure, emphasizing its behavioral effects.

Methods

Literature review of the last 15 years, through Medline and direct search.

Results and conclusions

According to the literature, the incidence of prenatal cocaine exposure is up to 15.5%, and its effects on the newborn are particularly on the development of the nervous system.
